Sod Atlanta provides next generation turfgrasses while adhering to the strictest growing guidelines in the turf industry. Our products are inspected thoroughly for off-types and noxious weeds. These inspections are conducted both in-house and by an independent agency known as The Georgia Crop Improvement Association. The GCIA regulates genetic purity for all Blue-Tag turf products in the State of Georgia.
The net result of our focus on Genetic Purity is the finest selection of turfgrasses available to our clients. Our clients understand that Sod Atlanta is not allowed by these guidelines to ever sell a blue tag product that is not genetically pure and true-to-type. This gives the consumers of our products the peace of mind that they are getting what they buy.

Zeon Zoysia
Absolutely the most beautiful turfgrass available!
Zeon is a fine-bladed, dark green color zoysia grass, that is drought tolerant and can handle full sun and has excellent shade tolerance. Zeon is a luxury turfgrass superior to Emerald in its rich beautiful look and lush dense turf. Zeon is superior to Emerald due to low thatch build-up, cold hardiness and few insect or disease problems. It is a lower maintenance zoysiagrass because of its ability to be mowed with a rotary mower. Zeon is excellent for lawns and golf course fairways and tees.

TifBlair Centipede
The only certified “Blue Tag” centipedegrass, exhibits unique cold tolerance.

T10 Bermuda
Certified Bermudagrass with unique blue-green color, superior cold tolerance and slower vertical growth.
T10 is a medium to coarse bladed certified turfgrass that has a unique dark bluish-green color. This certified turfgrass has superior cold hardiness and is considered low maintenance because of a slower vertical growth rate. This lower maintenance, unique colored turfgrass requires full sun and is excellent for low maintenance sports fields, golf course roughs, right of way areas and commercial and residential lawns. TifSport Bermuda
Certified bermudagrass with superior cold tolerance, sod strength and disease resistance.
A certified fine bladed, medium to dark green hybrid that forms a dense turf, tolerates heavy use, has superior cold hardiness and mole cricket non-preference. TifSport requires full sun and is considered high maintenance but with low nutrition requirements and toleration of close mowing heights. This excellent bermudagrass is the new favorite for sports fields, golf courses, and landscapes.
